Congratulations Glennis. Please could you mail me at scribbleandscrap@yahoo.co,uk to claim your £10 voucher? :o)
We're going to do things a little different this time around. We're doing it by linky but I would still like you to answer the following question in the comments below. So please add you link below...just one entry each please. I've decided to use linky so that everyone has a clear number for their entry.
Usual rules apply...answer the question, post the badge to the blog in your sidebar and follow the blog. Simples. :o)
And the question is:
Which size card do you like making most?
My favourites are 6 x 6 or anything that fits in a 6 x 6 envelope (shaped).
Good luck everyone!

I know that I promised some new digis very soon, and they will come, but I got sidetracked by something different which I hope will be in the shop very, very soon. That's all you're getting! :o)
There will be products in the shop in the coming days so keep your eyes peeled.
Take care everyone and happy crafting!

I tend to make the 6 x 6 cards although would love to make them smaller to be cheaper on postage but they never get smaller.x
ReplyDeleteI tend to make 6 x 6 cards but if it is for someone special or to someone I will be giving the card to I make 8 x 8. Even my 6 x 6 cards tend to be the Large post as they are too raised.

I usually make my cards in size 12.5 x 12.5 cm (around 5 x 5) but for example now I have been working on my Christmas cards project and there I have used the size A6 which is nice for winter scenes (frosty trees and snowflake sky).

I don't have a favourite size just depends if I have any pre-scored bought cards of am making a shaped card , as long as I can make a box to fit or find and envelope it will fit in I'm a happy bunny.
ReplyDeleteAlthough I probably make an equal number of 5.5 x 4.25 and 6 x 6, I think I like 6 x 6 the best. More room to add lots of embellies :-)
ReplyDeleteI generally make cards in 6 x 6 size. I find this is quite versatile. For special cards I will go to 8 x 8.

I make alot of cards A2 Size and 5 by 5 if I have envelopes of larger sizes then I will make larger ones or smaller but I don't have a face I just make what ever I'm in the mood for :)
ReplyDeletethanks for the chance
hugs Nikki
Congratulations, Glennis xxx
ReplyDeleteI like making 6"x6" and 8"x8" easel cards. Thanks for the chance of winning. xx Jeanette
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for choosing me as your winner. I will send you an email.
ReplyDeleteMy cards are mainly 15 x 10.5 centimetres
I did nothing but A2 cards for a couple of years and in the last 6 months, I've been doing a lot of 5.5 x 5.5 cards. I like the larger cards when I'm coloring up very detailed images because I can print up the digi a bit larger for easier shading and highlights. Finally switching over to ProMarkers with the ultra-fine nibs made a lot of difference, too.
ReplyDeleteMy main card size is 51/2 x 51/2 in, love the fact you can embellish so much more hugs xx
ReplyDeletemy fave are 6x6 cards ...
ReplyDeletetracey x
I mostly try to make 6x6 cards as I don't have the time to make envelopes and I don't get good ones here..thanks for the chance to win!!!
ReplyDeleteI usually make 6x6 but I'm trying to make some smaller ones because it would be less expensive to ship lol
ReplyDeleteNo real favourite, I do a lot of small cards, 4 x 4, I also do 6x4 and 5x5. Occasionally I go all out and make a bigger card, but not very often. I love working in miniature
ReplyDeleteMy favorite size is 6x6 also. I think it fits my images and all my embellies well! :) Thank you!

That's a tough one! It really depends oN which design team I'm working for at the moMent. For Paper Nest Dolls, it's usually 6x6. For other teams, it's usually A2 size. HOWEVER, if it's for personal cards of my own to send out to friends & family, I usually make A6.
ReplyDeleteThat is a tough question. I kind of wing it sometimes 6x6 other times A2 sometimes even just odd sizes :) sorry I am no help
ReplyDeleteI like to make A5 size cards as I find them easier to layout.
ReplyDeleteLorraine
Definitely 6"x6" for me too! Love a nice square layout :)
ReplyDeleteI like to make square cards 5x5.
ReplyDeleteI usually make A 6 cards.
